Im Dong-hwan, a young man who has never known his mother’s face, is shaken when the police inform him that her remains—missing for forty years—have been found, with signs of a possible murder. Determined to uncover the truth, he teams up with filmmaker Kim Soo-jin, who is working on a documentary about his father, a blind seal engraver since birth. Together, they trace the memories of those who once worked with his mother at a sewing factory, gradually unearthing secrets buried for four decades.
